University of Arizona Student Package

 

It was 25 years ago that I graduated from U of A so this year Sonoran Sport Center. is teaming up with RCbicycles to offer special Student discounts on our American Sailing Association (ASA) 101 basic keel boat sailing courses. Here is how it works. Simply stop by rcbicyles, see map inset, located just one block south of the U of A, or call me Vince, toll free @ 866-686-7352  and sign up for our ASA 101 Basic Keel Boat course. The course can be completed in two days so you can take a bus down to us on Friday and be back at school by Monday morning!

Complete cost of Course is $225 dollars which includes lodging, you sleep on board the sail boat you train on!!!! No need to spend bucks on a hotel!! No hidden costs. All teaching materials are included in this price. You simply have to get here and pay for your own food.

San Carlos is located 325 miles south of Tucson and the simplest method of getting here is by shuttle, bus or car

Bus Lines:

      

 

 

             Cost to Bus down to San Carlos on Tufesa Bus line is between $41 and $50 dollars one way.

 

 

 

The  Tufesa Bus Line  is locates at 5550 S. 12 Ave and their phone number is 520-294-3780

current departure schedule: 6:00 am  8:45pm  12:30pm  6:00pm  7:30pm  8:20pm  10:30pm  11:20pm (executive bus $9 dollars extra) 12 a.m.

Tufesa does not take reservations and is a first come first serve bus line. Buses are in great shape and you will be on the same bus all the way to Guaymas. I will pick you up at the bus station when you arrive and transport you to the boat you will be staying on.

 

 

Inexpensive Shuttles to Nogales walk across the border and hop on a local Bus from Nogales to Guaymas

 

Here is Sahuaro Roadrunner Shuttle service from Phoenix or Tucson to Nogales both ways http://www.mexicandoctorsdir.com/sahuaro_shuttle.htm  This company has a coupon you can print up from their web site listed as an internet special for round trip transportation from Tucson to Nogales for $18 dollars. Pretty darn reasonable.
